Homes that Last...

With the continued success of Le Papillon, we decided to look for additional acreage that was in close proximity to create a second neighborhood in a country setting.  

In 2003, The Chattel Group, LLC purchased two farms located less than a mile from Hattiesburg city limits in the heart of the Oak Grove community.  This property is located in Lamar County at the corner of Oak Grove Road and Joe Traylor Road...absolutely a prime residential location.  The development is called 'Chanticleer', named for a rooster in a famous Canterbury fable.   A picturesque pasture surrounded by Live Oaks and Magnolias provides Chanticleer the perfect setting for our French Country Style homes.

Chanticleer is ideally situated only minutes from Oak Grove schools, hospitals, shopping and restaurants.  The acreage will provide enough land for approximately 125 homes sites.  This project will also be connected to the Le Papillon Utility Company sewage treatment facility. 

The finished home price range starts at approx. $225,000$ to over $275,000.  The project offers a very attractive entry and has great 'curb appeal'.  Phase I of Chanticleer brought 24 home sites to the market. Today only 3 lots remain available in Phase I and work has begun to open Phase II lots.

Our newest planned subdivision, The Community of Greystone is now offering 1/3 +/- lots for sale for single family homes in Augusta Court, as well as luxury living in our patio-home  "Mandalay Villas".   The development is located on J. Ed Turner Drive (formerly Pipeline Road) across from the Hattiesburg Country Club and adjacent to USM's planned $30.5 million technology park.  The Longleaf Trace "Rails-to-Trails' bike path passes through the center of the development, adding additional recreational opportunities to residents. Coming soon is our Pinnacle Office Park with building pads for retail and/or office space ideally located in Oak Grove.
